ULI's Tom Murphy Talks About Real Estate Leadership, Public-Private

At the Urban Land Institute?s Spring 2012 meeting, Commercial Property Executive asked ULI Senior Resident Fellow and Former Pittsburgh Mayor Tom Murphy to elaborate on some of his views about real estate development and land use. Murphy points out that the public sector can help the private sector address the environmental risks of urban development sites; the real estate private sector can take the lead in establishing redevelopment agencies; and the Millennials will be changing the location and design of commercial real estate in years to come.
